is pendant wind or key wind. Setting of the hands is accomplished by either key from the back or via a push lever mechanism from the front (under front cover). By pushing the setting button in (or down), the detente lever will hook into position and slide the clutch wheel to the right to permit the setting of the watch by winding the crown (see last ebay photo above to view the lever in the in or down position). To unlock from the setting position simply depress the crown which will push down the front cover spring and simultaneously push down on a small lever which is attached to a hook holding the detente captive and thereby unlocks the detente lever which springs to the right to allow the winding of the mainspring at the crown (see 2nd to last ebay photo above to view the lever out or up position). Movement quality and finish is very high grade.
