1880 Henry Capt 18K Gold 30mm Pendant Pocket Watch Covered in Decorative Flourishes

Case Shape and Material:

Round case in solid 18K gold 30mm in diameter (without the crown & bail) and 6mm thick. Case is covered in flowing gold enamel decorations on a black background with edge geometric pattern.  4-part case has front bezel and case back cover with inner cuvette all of which are hinged and snap closed securely. Inside of back cover stamped with Eagle logo with 
"H C"for Henry Capt. Cuvette front is engraved with serial number and "Henry Capt Geneve". Inside of cuvette is stamped with the serial number and "750" for 18k gold and a "Helvetia" punch. Cuvette snaps open to reveal the "Henry Capt" signed mechanical winding movement. Total weight of the movement and case is approximately 25 gram.

Notes: This antique Henry Capt pendant pocket watch has several unique features:

1) The serial number marked on the case and the movement match precisely thus indicating an original case.

2) The movement is signed Henry Capt.

3)  The case has it original enamel decorations in very good condition and which show very little wear.

4) The original leather display case is included in this offer and remains in good condition despite being more than 150 years old.

Movement: Antique high grade Henry Capt Swiss movement. Although the jewel count is not marked

it has a minimum 15 jewels.

Movmt Type: antique pin set 15 jewel Swiss movement. The movement runs within a few minutes per day accuracy but has not been recently serviced.

Movmt Condition: fair, winds, sets, but runs a little fast and has not been recently serviced.
