CONDITION DESCRIPTION
Very good original condition with numerous light scratches from normal use. stainless steel case back shows loss of observatory detail from rubbing. Lugs show moderate loss of finish at high points. All original Omega Constellation dial in very good condition with spotting/patina from age. If you need a perfect dial please look at my other Genta Constellation its a bit more expensive but it has a flawless dial with no spotting. Luminous compound is no longer working. Omega calibre 561 movement is running well, keeps time to within 30 seconds per day in face up, pendant up and head down positions. NOS acrylic crystal in good condition. Handmade German thick brown stitched rawhide band fits wrist sizes to 8.5 inches appears new.

Case Shape and Material: gold plated barrel shaped case 40mm long (incl. lugs) x 34mm wide (excluding crown) with stainless steel back in good condition shows a few moderate nicks and scratches from wear. Omega gold plated logo crown. Inner case back marked "Omega Watch Co. Fond Acier Inoxydable Fab. Suisse Swiss Made CD 168.017". Outer case back impressed with Omega Constellation Observatory in gold
Monogram: None Movement: Omega 561 automatic rotor movement Movmt Type: 24 jewel Omega automatic rotor movement with date function and a semi-quickset. Date semi-quickset is accomplished by changing the date at 12am and then backing up to 8:45pm and then forward again to 3am. This action will cause a date change. Repeat as needed. Movmt Condition: good condition, sets, runs and keeps time to within 60 seconds in all positions Mainspring (runtime): 30 hours Regulation: checked
Dial: Gold dial in good condition with applied onyx inlay gold stick hour markers except applied double stick markers at 12 noon and date window at 3. Applied gold "Omega" and Omega logo under the 12 position with black painted "Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified" Omega logo under 12 position and above 6 marker is "Constellation" in painted script letters and under the letters is an applied gold star. Black painted minute tick marks. PLEASE NOTE: The dial shows light spotting from age. If the spotting is a concern please look at my other Genta Constellation it is the watch but has a flawless dial with no spotting. Hands: black baton hands and goldtone sweep seconds hand.
