Case Shape and Material:

Fine solid 18k yellow gold round 3 piece press fit case 33mm in diameter in very good condition. Inner case back marked: "Patek-Philippe & Co. -Geneve- Swiss  Ref. 2589 2602091" and is stamped "0.750" and impressed with the Helvetia hallmark (the Swiss mark for 18K gold). 18K gold crown with raised Calatrava cross. In this unique case design, the lugs appear short when viewed from the top (front) and gracefully elongated when seen from the back.

Hi grade 18 jewel Patek Philippe hand winding movement, with geneva seal stamped on train bridge and main plate. Fausses cotes decoration.  Unusual factory gyromax balance along with standard Bosely regulator.

Movmt Type: Patek Philippe 18 jewel calibre 23-300, has been adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions

Movmt Condition: very good, sets, runs and keeps time to within 5 seconds per day and was recently serviced by Patek Philippe in Geneva in 2021.

Dial: off white painted dial with thin gold stick hour markers in good condition signed "Patek Philippe Geneve" under the 12 position. Dial was refinished by Patek Philippe in Geneva (see photo of receipt)

Hands: long gold Patek baton hands, good

Crystal: mineral glass good condition with a few minor scratches

Band: Patek 18mm brown lizard grain band fits wrist sizes to 7.25 inches with 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle.

Box: New Patek Philippe service maroon color cardboard outer box with beige inner box.

Notes:

Fine vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava manual wind wristwatch in 18k yellow gold 3-part round case. Unique geneva seal movement has both factory gyromax balance and Bosely regulator. Watch was serviced at Patek Philippe in Geneva, Switzerland in 2021. Service included complete movement overhaul, new case tube and dial refinishing. This is an auction grade watch (which compares favorably to Calatrava watches sold at Bonham's or Christie's) and is "investment grade". Its in very nice condition running well and ready to wear.
