Movement Function: Pulling crown to 1st stop allows independent adjustment of the hour hand which can be used to: a. quickset the date by rapidly moving thru 24 hours and b. change the relationship between the Hour and the GMT hand thereby setting the time zone. Pulling the crown out to the second stop permits hour and minute hand adjustment (the GMT hand follows hour and minute) and stops the second hand.

Dial: Rolex black dial with round dot steel luminous hour markers except steel luminous triangle at 12 and steel lumnous rectangles at 6 and 9 and signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Explorer II" under the 12 position. Date window at 3 position. Marked "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" above the 6 marker.

Hands: Rolex steel luminous mercedes hands, good with steel sweep seconds and red GMT hand with luminous triangle tip all in good condition and with functioning luminous compound.

Crystal: New Rolex glare-resistant sapphire glass with date magnifier.

Band: stainless steel Rolex Oyster band marked on clasp "REGISTERED SWISS MADE STEELINOX EO2 78790A" has Rolex logo crown stainless steel deployant clasp with flip lock. Band is sized for an 8.25 inches wrist. Band is in good condition however has slight stretching. Band can be shortened up to 1.25 inches to 7 inches long by removing links.

Notes: Rolex mens Explorer II automatic chronometer date watch with GMT hand and quickset date. Water resistant rated to 100 meters (330 feet) but has not been tested. Watch is running well, keeping time and ready to wear.
